2020 S560 with Platinum subscription.

How high can our radios tune? What’s the highest channel they will get? Will they pick up 7XX plus channels? And are Xtra only on streaming?

EDIT It looks like mine goes up to 360.

Dont waste your money, pay the $10 for the app and plug the phone in.
cheaper satellite radio with all channels.
in the car satellitel is not worth it, no higher channels, stops at like 200, and no hidden channels.
on the app you have live and extra channela.

dont waste your money! Stay with the app for $10 a month.

I pay $6 a month for Platinum but I will probably go to the cheaper Music and Entertainment since Met Opera is going to streaming. I don’t see it as a waste of money.

i use more than one music service and I like it that way.

I’m with @zitsky on this, I just renewed the trial on my 2012 Cayenne. I like to use the built in satellite functionality in my cars, I have a bunch of favorites set and can browse if I want to. I have no idea how the CarPlay interface is on Sirius, but Podcasts frustrate me as browsing for new content is limited. I plug my phone in and toss in into the center console and take it out when I arrive, there are enough idiots on the road without me playing with my phone.

I think I pay around 100 bucks a year for the all access all channel package from Serius. I have my car radio as the primary account holder and can use the app on my phone anywhere. The satellite radio is nice though for when I am out in the middle of nowhere and do not have internet access on my phone. One thing I have noticed is that the audio on the satellite radio is much hotter than the USB and BT audio off my phone. The music is much louder and more dynamic on Satellite. Could just be my experience but I find the satellite audio to be very good.

Yeah, just call in and ask for their best offer. I think its like about $6/mo. The app comes with it too, I believe. But I don't need the App, I use apple music for that. Satellite is when there is no cell service rendering the app version useless in that regard.

Sound quality with SiriusXM is also MUCH better through streaming than through the satellite.

Ive been a sirius member since 2005, when Howard Stern moved over.
learned that the app works better, sounds better and has more functionality
I also have multiple music apps.
For me its about not wasting money on something i can get cheaper. Same source product.
