It should. Put the headlight rotary dial on AUTO and push the high beam stalk forward to set auto high beam.

Thanks. I just hate reading the owner’s manual.

[QUOTE=zitsky;8881512]Do we have an auto high beam feature?[/QUOTE

It’s actually auto-dimming high beams. Pushing the stalk forward sets them active, but they will auto-dim depending on speed, location, oncoming/same-direction traffic.

So they won’t automatically go to high beam if low beam is active, but they will automatically switch (under given conditions) to low beam if high beams are engaged.

So why have I been flashing my high beams at the Honda Civic in front of me? 🤔

Are you pushing forward or pulling back?

I was surprised to find out my car has three automatic settings, low, medium and high. With the lever set in the forward position, the automatic system switches from one to the other. If it feels like using low and I push the lever forward nothing happens, but then it is 'armed' to use the other two positions as and when it sees fit.

Well the Civic isn’t going any faster, so I think I’m pushing forward. 🥸

As long as you're seeing this icon (circled in blue) somewhere in your instrument cluster, then your automatic high beams are enabled.

Unfortunately, Mercedes has yet to debut the highly anticipated Magic Dynamic Automatic Honda Civic Vaporizer, but maybe next year...

Hope that helps!

With my MBUX I also have to make sure intelligent lights are enabled within the car settings. Not sure if this applies to comand systems or other MBUX iterations.

Yes it does, even on my 2015 S550.

I’ve been using the auto high beams on the windy roads of the Biltmore estate in Asheville, NC. The BMW driver in the car said “that’s awesome” every time they adjusted.

Oh and the valet at the Grand Bohemia Hotel said “nice car”.
