Want to Swap s560 hood ornament for flat badge
I have a 2020 s560 and would like to remove the stand-up style hood ornament and replace it with a flat hood ornament. I called my local Mercedes parts department and they couldn't tell me if a flat hood emblem that comes on other Mercedes would fit. Has anyone done this and/or have suggestions on a part number that would work or an aftermarket part? Thanks.

One of the comments said they installed it on a 2018 S class with no gaps.

I work at a local Mercedes-Benz dealer and I can tell you that I have changed out a dozen emblems from the flat ones to the stand up stars . Once you get it off (sometimes the spring you need to compress on the inside part of the star under the hood will slightly rust making it really difficult to compress . Trick is to use a needle nose to crimp and twist ) OEM or Amazon they all seem to do the trick and should snap in easily .
