Which Mercedes Benz Star Diagnosis to buy?

Which Mercedes Benz Star Diagnosis to buy?
I´m in the process of buying a Mercedes Benz Star Diagnosis "MB Star C4" or "MB Star C6" from AliExpress.

Which one is to prefer C4 or C6?

C4 with Doip and install yourself the Software, buying pre installed SSD will force you not to use solutions that's already free here, besides the spybots.

I also have a 2015 S Class. A C4 with DOIP is more than sufficient.
The price from AliExpress recently doubled to more than $800 because of the orange-man's tariffs.

How is the pre installed SSD installed in a laptop? Replacing the orginal SSD with the pre install SSD?

The short answer is yes, but you install it in a dedicated computer. Not in your personal laptop.

Pre installed SSD usually contains viruses and spybots and Antivirus disabled. Also the SW's pre installed is limited so you will be forced to pay if you will want to obtain what normal programs offers

More cheap and safe is to install native programs ( there is a website here on forum selling with very few $$ Xentry, DTS, Vediamo, etc, for personal use)) that works great with all security enabled.
