The EQS uses the lates 350KW system, so a 60 mile charge will only take 3 minutes. Range of the car is listed at 700km (435 miles) based on the more generous WLTP standard. This will be less under EPA rules unless MB is gaming the system like Tesla (there was an interesting article in Car & Driver https://www.caranddriver.com/feature...range-numbers/)
That said, I am a bit hesitant when looking at the camouflaged EQS models. Unlike the S-Class, the car looks more like a Model S hatchback. I hope it will look close to the EQS Vision. We'll have to see...

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
M

length +34mm
width +55mm (w/normal door handles)
height +12mm
wheelbase +51mm
track, front +36mm
track, rear +51mm
trunk +20 liters
EQS will be smaller, I expect a footprint close to the E's, though total interior volume, inclusive of cargo capacity, should be between E and S.

I don't know. When I look at that woman this music starts to play in my head.

"the S63e 4Matic+ and S73e 4Matic+ ...are set to run Mercedes-AMG’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine in combination with an electric motor mounted within the rear axle operating on a 400V system and a lithium ion battery with a capacity around 20kWh.
In the S63e, the electric motor is said to develop 134bhp, giving the car a combined system output that AMG insiders put at “close to 700bhp”.
The S73e, meanwhile, is set to get a 201bhp electric motor for a combined 805bhp, making it the most powerful S-Class model yet."
The S580e in contrast, along with the weaker ICE, appears to get the smaller electric motor of the S63e, but a somewhat larger, 28kWh battery.
For USA, the regular, non-AMG offerings have three engine choices, a 3.0 liter in-line six (S450) and two V-8s (S500, S580)? All bi-turbo and mild hybrid? Are both V8s coming to USA or just the 580? And there's a S580+ plug-in hybrid.
I know the inline six is a brand new design, are the V8s too, or are they a carryover from W222 designs?
