Seasonal theme MBUX nice touch
Got the Christmas theme on the MBUX over the holiday. Nice touch if you have it enabled. Showed snow fakes falling in the background and Santa stuff. Custom snow flake home button and such. Thanks MB!

I have not even set it up yet.
I wonder if this seasonal stuff is regional. Would snow fakes be shown for those in the southern hemisphere (eg New Zealand)? Here in the sub-tropic northern hemisphere, I do not expect snow fakes any time soon.

Snowflakes or fake snow? A lot of Chinese tourists seek to see our snow and northern lights (northern part of our country). Now that travelling is mostly banned, even more so for Chinese, I thought all those people would be happy to see even some artificial snow? Santa anyway prefers to travel with equipment intended for snow, if such uncontrolled acts are allowed in the area.

Interesting. We have xmas on january 7, and I'm curios will our MBUX also be snow-skinned. Mercedes me app already full of snow.

There is an option in the settings labeled as "graphical goodies." I forget exactly where but its with the display and MBUX settings.

Could it be that all the MY21 needs is a software update? I find it weird that MB would only give MY22 and beyond vehicles this feature though...Especially since the MY21 and MY22 vehicles both run NTG 7.0 myMBUX.

If for some reason it says up to date on an older version (for your car) than everyone who has this feature then it confirms that MB did not push the latest version to the slightly older model year vehicles yet for some reason...

You will need to wait till other forum members here that has the feature respond with their version number to confirm if you are running the same version.

As for checking for new updates, you can do so with your Mercedes Me app.
