Center Vent Reflection off of Windshield

Anyone else get a reflection of the center vent on the windshield? Is it possible to wrap those trim pieces in a darker color or even change them out?

Many of us do notice that reflection. It is there.
However, after a while, you will get used to it and it will just not bother you as much. The point is, if you pay attention to it, it gets annoying. The more you do so, the more it gets annoying.
Since this is a new car to you, you will normally pay attention to every detail and that reflection naturally gets your attention. The annoying-ness will subside sooner or later.
And, I do not think anyone has done anything to get rid of it. Wrapping or painting or replacing might help. If you do so, please post back your experience.

Wait until you get the reflection of the passenger side vent in the side window that blocks your view of the exterior mirror. That’s lots of fun.

I equate this to MB’s decision to go full haptic. It looks good on paper, and works well in an indoor test environment, but is crap in real life.

It doesn’t bother me but it’s certainly noticeable.

I get into a flow in this car: I settle my butt in, Mrs Crab queues up the tunes, the world just kinda flows by. I try and care about the many annoyances but I can't build up any steam. So comfortable... That 4D sounds so nice... Mmmm, my armrest is heated... Wait; what was I going to complain about?

My 2022 S580 is my fifth, brand new S Class in a row and my 17th new MB overall. 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and now the 2022. It is, without a doubt, not NEARLY as well designed, engineered and/or sorted out as the previous four cars. The 2022 cabin is quieter than the others and the 4D Audio is better than the previous 3D, but that’s it. EVERYTHING else was as good or better in my previous W221/W222 models and MUCH better in some cases. All of the cars were loaded, but the 2022 was significantly more expensive than the others, while being the least enjoyable to drive. Regardless of the way so many here praise and defend their W223’s, It is my opinion that these cars were rushed into production without having been thoroughly tested and sorted out.

Totally agree. Currently on our 6th S class and am disappointed. The reflections are annoying and the car is not as quiet as the previous versions.
I don't think our next vehicle will another S class.

I'm surprised you say its not as quiet, my W223 is considerably quieter than my W222 was, what sorts of noise do you hear? I wonder if you have a seal issue somewhere...
