i fully spec out a 580e back in march when it became available. I was told it would be a June delivery. Then sales emailed me it would be July. i just got off the phone with them and it became a oct 6th build and a Nov delivery. That makes it almost a model year old/ When do you think the 24s get built? Is it possible it will be a 24? She said they will discount the car but didnt say how much. Any advise from those that went though this/ Thanks.

Model year is based on the build date, not on the order date.

My 23 was built in August 22, you're definitely 24 with an October build date.

The S Class has switched over at the end of June as of the last few years. So at the end of June the facility has a quick summer break and when they come back in early July they build the new model year.

AutoNation generally had a standard 10% discount on Mercedes when I spoke with them in the past. Not sure if their process is still the same.
