wanna blow your mind? Your silver one had the night package too! It was just in earlier years the window surrounds were left chrome even with the night package. You can tell because you don’t have chrome on the lower bumper or the lower door trim and you have the black mirrors.

Yeah they just tweaked the presentation, 21 and 22 they had gloss black trim on the chrome areas except the grille and the window surrounds, 23+ they went to a black chrome trim and blacked out the windows

Hmm. The whole lower part of the grill appears surrounded by a black box (but difficult to tell) + the side panels where the headlights are embedded.
I think the pre-LCI looked terrible and the facelift has improved the frontend but this is still not a pretty car. My bigger concern is that the car is supposed to look like an IX3 on the inside with that funky shaped center screen.

Given all the complaints about MB's pop-out door handles it is interesting that BMW now has them on all new models as well, so I assume also the 7 series. Which I personally don't mind

BMW design has jumped the shark. I loved my F90 M5, but now there is not a single car in the BMW lineup that I think looks good. Not one.
Mercedes is leading the big 3 German lux marques in design, IMO.

How is it Mercedes (Maybach!) still can't make panels that are aligned. No matter what car anyone wants or loves or whatever, this is unacceptable.

I've wanted a flat-bottomed steering wheel on my S as long as I've owned it. Now that it is an option, I'd gladly pay the outrageous cost for one (from Mercedes) if I could get my local dealer to install - but from what I've gathered from other convos on this site, that's pretty much a hard no. Does anyone know if exceptions can be made? Also, would you consider?
