My 2006 S65 AMG makes a weird noise

My 2006 S65 AMG makes a weird noise
When driving, I hear sometimes an alarm type of noise in the front or in the back, on the left or on the right. It sounds like a beep. MB could not find the source of this annoying beep. Did anyone experienced that before?

I have parktronic. And the sound is close to the one you hear when you gonna hit something. -)
It seems that it comes from the speakers too, that's why I hear it sometimes from the back and sometimes from the front.
I put a lot of miles in my car so it occurs pretty much once every other day.

i have the same sound. happens at about 50 mph once in 20 times or so. Weird. For those who has distronic, the sound is exact like distronic warning one, but it comes from behind somewhere.
besides that sound, i have some kind of rattling sound coming from the dashboard area, can't locate from where yet, and another sound from rear dash where sub is mounted.

I heard something similar the other day..... after a few minutes, I found out that it was the passenger seat belt chime.... I was resting my arm on the top of the passenger seat.....

I occasionally get a squealing sound from the rear of my S65. It usually happens at intersections, right after my light has turned green. It also happens in traffic when my lane suddenly opens up. It is sometimes accompanied with clouds of white smoke in my rearview, and I also occasionally see the car leaving black marks on the pavement behind me. I checked, but couldn't find any leaks under the car. Also, my rear tires are wearing out really quickly. I hope there's nothing wrong with the car.

I have parktronic on my s55 and found out that after going to a roll through carwash, that either water or by bumping the parktronic sensors they malfunction and beep at odd times. Luckily mine stopped after a couple of days. I am sure it could happen to cars with distronic as well.
Do you find that it happens more when the car is washed? Or do you park close to a wall in the garage that you might have bumped?

Air vents loudly from the passenger seat sometimes
Sounds like a release valve spontaneously opened up. It's not an electric warning tone. More like the sound of the air coming out of a balloon when you stretch the balloon's neck between your two hands. Not whoopie cushion sound; more like a poorly played clarinet.
I cannot reliably reproduce the noise. It just happens once in a while.
I think it's related to air pressure vs. temperature changes, and the system that inflates/deflates the seats' lumbar & lateral bladder supports.

Has anyone figured this out yet? My car made this noise twice today. VERY strange. Might have come from the driver's seat, but not sure.

Actually, my Range Rover beeps at stoplights. I think that it sets off the parktronic for some reason.

I had a SL55 come in a while back , actually , several visits, for us to try and locate an occasional alarm tone sound that may or may not happen after start up / while driving. 2-3 " beeps " from the right side of the car....
To make a long story short, it ended up being the voicemail reminder tone, for the phone in the car. While they were out of the car, a call came in, caller left a voice message, and when the car was started, the phone system would load... you have mail, tone would sound.. but it did not always have the phone in the car when he came in and/or did not always have a new message , to set it off... making it intermittant AND frustrating.

Voicemail reminder alert is quite a distinctive electrical beep tone.
The seat venting noise is a high-pitched tone, but definitely not a beep.

This 'beep' issue is definitely relate to drive dynamic seat. I've noticed that it's on only when drive dynamic seat is on. If you use massage feature at the same time, the beep will come sooner. This is an indication that the pump is working too hard, I believe. A work around for me is to turn off the drive dynamic seat. The noise never come back. Dealers can't 'duplicate' this issue and I don't want their mechanic to take my car home to try to duplicate this issue.

Finally got this issue resolved by a local MB dealer. It turns out to be a vent line for PSE pump. It'll make noise when any air is pass through. Dealer installed updated vent line. Part# below.
