Question About W220 Amg Body Kit
.............if you have the AMG body kit on your W220 with single oval exhaust tips, and you elect to get the dual AMG exhausts, do you need to change the rear bumper to one specifically cut out for the dual exhausts? Or is the rear diffuser alone changeable?

............Thanks. I meant to ask about the W220, but the question also applies to the W221 as you have pointed out. I will modify my post.

............thanks for the info. *** far as expense goes, the AMG bumpers are actually not that expensive. The Lorinser and Brabus bumpers are more expensive. Thanks.

Sorry, I meant expensive compared to the standard bumper, or single tip each side bumper. From my experience anything meant for AMG is usually 1.5-3x the cost of a comparable standard mercedes part.

That image in not an authentic OEM AMG bumper. It has exchaust add-ons. There are no molded spaces in the bumper for the AMG exhausts.
From what i remember, the bumpers were in the range of $1500 each (front and back) and the side aprons were about $750 each.

............below is a link to an S600 with AMG kit.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...spagenameZWDVW
..............now the S600 has no molded exhaust cut outs just like the performance products picture. They are not fake AMG bumpers.
............It looks like the S55 also does not have molded cutout for the exhausts. But I am not sure of this. This my question. Are the bumpers on the S600 shown and the S55 shown the same or not?
................price is not an issue. The AMG bumpers like I said are relatively inexpensive. Here is a link to the price of the Lorinse bumper. as you can see it is almost twice the price of the AMG ones. http://www.performanceproducts4benz....ody+Kit+(W220)

Here is a picture of the S55. It does come with the cutouts for dual tips on each side.
If you are getting an S55 exhaust, you will want this specific bumper.
