1st 2007 S65 on the showroom!!
I just wanted to let anyone who maybe interested in the New Body S65, we have a Black/Black on that is currently being detailed & should be on the showroom floor by the end of the day. This one has Four Place seating, Distronic Plus, Rear multi-contour & ventilated seats & Panorama Sunroof. The MSRP is $192,090, however the car will be sold at a market premium!

That is a smooth car. The AMG's keep getting more and more expensive. For $200k, I would buy a Gallardo. But if I had 400k, I would buy one of each

Yikes! The car is as hot as it is expensive. So there are some options on the S65, but not the S600. Kinda doesn't make sense, IMO. Still an awesome car though! Thanks for the pics.
Do you have have any of the 07' Es in yet? MB's worldwide press release on sales said that the E was in showrooms in the U.S. on 7/5?

For those who want four seats and ultimate luxury and want to go very very fast there is no sensible alternative.
Ten times nicer than the ridiculously heavy image-mistake that is a Bentley Continental.

I spotted an IDENTICAL S65 about 30 mins ago driving around (central jersey)...can you say AMAZING..i was sitting in traffic on a two lane road when i see a what at first seemed to be just another S550 crawling along the other way...i take a closer look at see the V12 bi-turbo badges on the side...by this point im in awe about the whole thing...i take a look in my sideview mirror and see the quad exhaust and then S65 AMG badging...wow that made my day

The GT seats two yet weighs more than a Range Rover. The Flying Spur looks rather like a 300C.
I've driven my neighbors GT and test drove one before buying my 996TT, so you can drop the 'actually' attitide.
I would've thought someone purportedly with a DB9 would have a little more taste.

The Bentley is a great car. Just because you may not like it does not reflect the sales or the fact that the car is a great success. Who cares if it is heavy, it is a GT and not a sports car. I happen to like the S65 as well but as an owner of an SL65, the Bentley will hold its value MUCH better than the Benz. Especially when the dealers start dropping them 40k to move them off the lots once all the players have theirs. At 200k this car is 35k more than a Flying Spur, close to a used Phantom,an almost new Arnage T and I am sure a few Maybachs. Too much money for something that looks pretty damn close to an S550.

I also have to disagree with the GT statement. That car has been a huge success for Bentley and people love the car. Also, the 300 copied the GT/Flying Spur....that isn't Bentley's fault.

Just because you don't like some car does not mean bupkis to the others,it is just your opinion, based on 5 min test drive or a week behind the wheel regardless.

Regardless, what I wrote probably wouldn't offend quite as many people as "4wd is nice in Chicago Winter, especially for ladies" which you posted. Just my opinion, but I don't think it's very pleasant to generalise that females are unable to control rear wheel drive cars in adverse weather conditions any less ably than their male counterparts.
I don't want to get in one of those silly arguements on here, and I realise you probably didn't mean to be chauvinist, just pay others the same compliment and don't be so quick to jump down someones throat.
You like Bentley's, I don't. Big deal. I guess we both agree that Astons are nice cars, at least. My brother has a black Vanquish S and speaks very highly of it.
Anyways, was just trying to draw a truce, absent.

"Bupkis" means the same as "last year's snow".
