Each to there own but.......They trashed the whole S65 look besides the brakes, It looks like a riced up S430-S500...Lorinsers new stuff =
CRAP
They reduced the value of that 65 greatly in my opinion.

Simply awful. It doesn't even look like an AMG anymore. I would never buy a car done up like that, the owner was obviously clueless. I wonder if it is even a real 65? The wheels are absolutely terrible. I think AMG got the styling of their 65 cars down perfectly and they shouldn't be messed with in any major way, esp. the 19" gunmetal twin-spokes. I would not drive around in that car. Period.

2001 Mercedes Benz S55 AMG
Ditto! Loose the Wheels and Front Grills and the Lorinser body kit and take about $ 25k off their price and it will look almost as nice as the OEM S65! (It will probably take about $ 25k to restore it back to the OEM S65 - This will help it to hold its value as an S65...)

Can't believe they ruined this car! S65 used with similar mileage are going in the mid $90k with new/never titled models selling for $110-$115k which even at that price is still questionable with the W220 body style.
The seller would be lucky to get $100k much less his starting bid of $125k...which is not even close to his reserve
