2007 S65 auction price

One decent specimen went through today at Riverside AA. It was a lease, full options, no major damage besides the usual rock chips and minor scratches on the clearcoat.

17k miles, $130k, black on black. I saw this car first hand, was a beauty.

Jeez, I remember like a year/year and half ago when the 220s hit that price. I thought for sure the reason for those free falling was cause they were practically launched over here at the same time as the 221s, but apparently the 65s are just depreciation nightmares in general. 60k drop in a year! Can't believe it. Time to start saving up, lol.

At 17k miles a roughly 30% drop is nothing unusual among luxury cars.
Expect similar percentage for S550 and any other similar sedan.(typical wholesale on a 17k miles S550 is about $60k,with original MSRP at $100k)

We sold one with 3k miles at $155k a month ago...so they do take a hit, but nothing out of the ordinary with the AMG's

2010 CL65
Am always amazed used car values aren't much lower....

Requires a "special" sense of value to buy any used, >$25K car.....esp when new cars are available w/cheap $0 down leases....

It can be changed by going to the options screen and switching. Very simple to do.

I agree to a point, not everybody wants to be stuck with the car for 2 years though.
I will never lease again for that reason,I want flexibility of changing the car at will,no matter how attractive the lease is.

Something on 4 wheels..
Hmm, interesting..

although I ordered a CL63 for April delivery, I might get a 2008 CL65 in good condition and a few miles for almost the same $$$...
