E55 then E63, now back to an E55
Whats a keyless go card? All the benzes I have ever seen simply require the key to be present in vehicle (such as in your pocket) in order to start and run??

mine cost $195 at dealer
Just got a new one. Would guesstimate around $200. Have to have all the papers sales bill etc to prove you are not trying to jack the car.

some mercedes vehicles had a "smart" card, instead of (or maybe in addition) to the smart key. the card is the size of a credit card and works just as any keyless go transmitter would.

Prior to '04, the keyless go option included a credit card sized device that is kept in your wallet. You don't need to have a key.
The change to the smart key happened sometime in '04, as I just tuned an '04 SL55 and it had the smart key, rather than the card,

I will be interested....
I have a Keyless go and the Key ofcourse. Can I go to the dealer and have it programmed ? If yes, would you happen to know how much would it cost me to regprograme if i were to get the key from you ?.
