S63 with BBS LM

I just put these BBS LM wheels on, 8.5x20, 9.5x20, because their step lips, do they look a bit small or not? but I can feel improved handling since they are lighter than stock wheels.

I think they look great!!!! My only suggestion would be to replace the "BBS" center cap with the silver Mercedes star.

Not feeling the wheels. Looks like they belong on a 5 series not a Benz. IMO

I won't put them on a S550 for sure, but I can feel improved handling from the BBS vs. heavier stock wheels, this is an AMG, not normal Benz

I like the wheels, but they might be too sporty looking for a luxury sedan. These wheels look really out of place unless they are on a real sports car. Even though its an AMG, I still see it as a luxury GT-type car and definitely not a "sports car". IMO, you can achieve the same effect of reduced unsprung weight with HRE's or Iforged while still maintaining that look of a luxurious sedan.

I thought about HRE and Iforged..., but most HRE are not fully forged, and Iforged are a little heavier, I had a set of LM on my 06 750Li, looked great with improved handling.

Nice to see someone mounting lighter wheels on their AMG instead of grossly overweight chromed alternatives. Kudos! And +1 on the MB centercaps.

Hmm, anyone can tell you I absolutely LOVE BBS LMs, but they don't look right on the 221.

Agreed - they really look small. Nice wheels but not on a 221.
Perhaps on the E Class because the wheel arches are not as dominant.

I think they look great. I used to love huge-looking, chromed out massive sized rims, but I've come to realize that they really don't look that good especially when you consider the weight. HRE looks awesome, but LMs are the bomb. I think they look great, especially with the blue. Also, that increase in handling is a nice bonus!

I think it looks extremely good, I respect your taste for following motor sports wheels.

Thanks to all, thanks for looking.

For after market wheels, I think about weight and handling first, S63 20" stock wheels are too heavy, 33/34 lbs, my M6 stock wheels are forged 19", 26/27 lbs, so I decide to keep them on.

The W221 really needs a 21" fitment if running a standard 3 piece wheel with rivets. 22" fitment if running BBS LM's. The LM's always look one size smaller due to the design of the face. Keep the BBS caps, IMO the MB cap doesn't quite match.

You sure the LMs are heavier than HRE and IFORGED in the same size?

I have heard the LMs are heavy.

The LMs are one of my favorite wheels but not on a W221.

I think the wheels look great, especially when looking towards the front of the car's profile. Oh, and keep the BBS center caps for sure.
