Sprayed can v8 kompressor badge..
Yes or no? i can't decide to keep it on or put it back to chrome

good idea, it might look good on your "silver" car...
BUT imo it looks slightly "cheap"

no it's not cheap but out of place unless you had more black colored mods like wheels at least.. in your case i'd leave it silver or chrome

i think black looks nice. are you going to remove the badge and paint it or are you going to mask it off on the body panel.

its one time use... the original chrome badge was removed..bought a new pair..and i painted black..

these are not cheap.. ebay one are bad quality THE WORDS ARE NOT EVEN SAME SIZE....like $30bucks.. dealer wANT ALSMOST $100 for oem

I'm flirting with the idea of removing that badge altogether. I've just never liked it -- thought it was one ornament too many. On the other hand I have to admit, with these cars, I have a huge fascination with "stock." But if I change anything, that may be the first to go. My opinion is mod the Allroad. The AMG remains stock.

saw a black kompressor badge on a silver E55:

1) saw it from across a divided highway, and it was still ugly from that far away (unlike some ugly people that are only ugly up close )

2) looked like the owner is trying too hard to look cool/show off/brag, etc

3) looked like a 9-inch scar on a Heidi Klum's thigh

4) it made me cry, and now I have nightmares
