the comparison makes sense really
a 63 motor has a hp and torque output much higher in rpm's where as a v12 tt is full torque at 1800-1900 rpm......in other words yes the v12 tt works less and therefore in terms of wear and tear can outlast a 63 motor----I actually asked my Benz Mechanic this question today and he responded "I have seen a lot of v12 tt with over 80k miles no issues and running great yet we have had quite a few 55 motors and a few 63 motors with oil and supercharger issues"
I woudnt lease a car again in my life...HELL is the best way to describe it....the feeling of getting locked into a car with a say $3500 a month payment for more then 2 years is insane....and on the lower end lets say a C63 for $1200 a month....again insane...I pay $1000 a month for my GTR and $600 a month for my S65 .....and I can sell those anytime I want any day I want ...and LOSE ZERO
Also with a lease you have to carry a 100/300 poilicy....this is a $200 a month difference on my policy over the insurance required to own it instead....

100/300???? I don't know why anyone would settle for these limits... I have 250/500/250 and pay just about $100 per month for my 06E55. I also have $0.00 collision and comprehensive deductible... And I don't lease...

On topic, I understand with retarded munk is saying and transferred. Retarded does need to tone his posts down, goodness. They have differed opinions, but the fact of the matter is, buying a 2 yr old used car would save a bundle of cash. Especially on high-end cars.
It is just a matter of preference, I think we all agree on that. Personally, I stopped buying new cars about 8 years ago. To me it was a waste of money.
