S55 engine stalls when slowing down
Hi. I've been having a problem with my S55 for a couple of weeks. When i'm slowing down to take a corner or to stop at lights my car will randomly shut down. Its a bit worrying especially when im taking a corner because the steering feels like it locked up. It doesn't happen all the time, just randomly but only when i'm on the brakes. After it shuts down I just put it into park and restart the car it works fine. I've searched everywhere and all i've found is a problem with the CPS however i dont think this is the problem as i can start it immdiately after it shuts down and i have been keeping an eye on the engine temp and it happens wether it is cool or running hot. I have noticed that every now and then when i come to a stop the engine rumbles a bit once its changed back to first gear but this only happens for a few seconds then idles normally. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

issues are going to cause idle problems that throw a code.
Same with the EGR you would have a P04** range code.
The cps often throws no code and operating temp or lower can cause the symptoms you have.
For 42 bucks and 15 minutes of your time, why not r/r it and rule it out.
