roughly 5-10mph i was accelerating and bam...went underneath the rear bumper of a toyota senna the headlight and hood took the impact..if only couple inches higher ..the support bar could of done it's job

not really..i took everything apart and did some metal works..
rubber hammer and sand bag ...
talked to the bodyshop guys..hood need replace and bumper can be recondition..

I can see why you wouldnt want to paint over it, but...It may be good with no paint on a Black car, but not silver....Why not just get a used hood from a salvage yard? There are more and more W220's that are winding up there...you would still have to paint.

The hood i say do what you want its your car; but in the end at least you have the option to paint it over if you don't like it!
The lights, I would avoid ebay ones because the seals, fitting, and electrical are never perfect so the time and money you're spending to get them to work isn't worth it. I'm sure there are one or two odd ones that work perfectly but i'd rather get salvaged ones than ebay ones! just my opinion
