Her she is...2006 S55 for your viewing pleasure!
Just got her Friday. She came from Houston. It's a one owner 2006 with 81K miles, totally stock for now. I'm absolutely amazed by this car. The power is awesome, and the quality of interior and options are fantastic.
I've really spoiled myself here, and can never go back to anything less. I'm almost positive I shouldn't have bought this just yet...
I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions, mainly what does this button do, but I'll try the search as much as I can
Enjoy the pics, I'll post more as weather gets better, these are with my phone...

Yea, that's for sure!
Definately a huge step up. I didn't know what I was missing. I mean just these seats alone are worth it all...I love when they push me when the car corners...Amazing!
Not to mention how well this beast hugs corners when it's 4000+ lbs
We need to meet up so I can show it off;-)

I just lowered mine about an inch......just enough to get rid of the wheel/fender gap. I bought links and they are easy to install and adjust. It took me about 30 mins to install, and about 15 mins to adjust and get all 4 corners sitting the same. I'm not trying to slam mine, about just give it a longer sexier look.

I bought them off of ebay. Great people to deal with. Spent about $160 with shipping.

As said, very nice people to do business with and after sales service is pretty good aswell, as you can see why below.

Oh, and although you get instructions they're not of any use if you decide not to read through all of them. I read the bit about the fronts, and how to make the new links LONGER than the old ones to make the car lower, and then just assumed the same for the rears. But unfortunately its the reverse for the rears and since i hadnt read that far my car ended up looking like a wedge, the front end was slammed to the floor and the back end like an Emu's ***. I gave the guy a call and when he'd stopped laughing he told me how to do it properly

I just used a pair of needle nose pliers and wedged them inbetween the link and the ball joint. they came off pretty easy. I kept the stock links in case I ever want to go back to stock (do see that ever happening) but none the less, a job pretty easy to do for the rookie mech. Once the new links are in, they will just "twist" off because they are aluminum and won't break. Good luck with your new ride. Love black, it's a classic color.

Thank you, iv now got some different wheels on her aswell so she looks like a completely different animal now. Will try and get some better pics for you soon.
But as is the obvious case, if your messing around with the geometry then please have it corrected after the suspension has been lowered. Your car will handle and ride better and you wont need a new set of tyres every few hundred yards.

Yea, wheels are definately going to be a purchase I make in the near future. The stock ones aren't bad, but let's face it...I can't keep them
I might get these links in a couple more weeks.

opposite-lock...
congrats on the acquisition, enjoy!
I ordered those UK links yesterday 8-) Thanks for that heads-up, I'm giddy to get them installed.
I'm STAR lowered now but it needs a bit more. No slammed to the pavement hooptie here (looks a bit silly but hey to each their own), just proper-like... I soooocannotwait.

Thanks Oxygen Oh yea, I should get some of those up...I hope to be able to wash the car today. Sun doesn't come out for much and when it does, it doesn't for long.
