2002 S55 AMG Schematics Wiring Help SOS

Hello

I Purchased a 2002 S55 AMG a year ago and now everything is gone wrong

I started to hear like water in the dash board about 3 months ago, then recently the radio when out , then the dash and now everything is dead

Took it to the dealer , dealer says the heating core is clogged Causing fluid to drip in side the dash shorting out all the computer and fuses

dealer wants 2,500 to rip out the dash and install new heating core and that does not include replacing the computer and fuses

I wanted to know if someone could tell me how to get the wiring diagram and Schematics on my car so I can take a look at it and figure out what is behind that dash ..that way i know what I an looking at to repair this car

Because I want to keep my car I don't want to throw it away

There are a lot of modules under the dash. I dont think a wiring schematic will help you much. Once the dash is out you will be surprised. I have a couple of junk w220 S class so if you need any parts PM me.

post above is wrong....w220 2002 use fiber optic D2B

heater core? seriously? sound like a miss diagnose...

because most drain block cause by water drain onto the fuse box sam (right front) cause shorts.... there few source that i know of....sunroof drain line, wiper cow area, or door seal...

need to find out exactly where the water source coming from...

rethink dealer provide any proof that water leaking from heater core? picture? or lost of coolant?

I TOOK SOMETIME OUT THE HIGHLIGHTS SOME OF THE AREA YOU WANT TO LOOK AT..

LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER HELP..

I think you mean D2B which is fiber optic. But with removing the dash, that is the least of your worries. As stated earlier a wiring diagram won't really help you much. You will need to look at the WIS documents for dash R&R.

THANKS FOR CORRECTION "D2B" IS WHAT I MEAN.

I guess my wiring diagrams that provide above as original OP ask is not useful!

sorry if i ever take time out to do it in the first place...

op...removing dash is a big job to replace heater core...but water and coolant is totally different "fluid type"

mistakenly remove dash for water leak is really stupid.....making sure where source of whatever leak is 1st priority.

Yes !!!! Before the dash went out, the need coolant warning would come on the dash and every 3 weeks or so I i would add more coolant ...so that IS the only reason I believe the dealer somewhat so now I know where the coolant was going ..

I want to take the dash out in my garage myself and fix the heating core myself and fix the sams 1 by 1 until my car works again ....I don't care if it takes me 4 months

Do you guys think YOU could guide me along the way because I never even had time to enjoy my car and I want to fix it

Do you guys think if I carefully remove the dash screw by screw , will i able to put it back together ?

I have been working like dog the past week

This is great stuff fellas ............I will be bringing my car from the dealer on Thursday .......I can't wait to get my car in the garage to work on it
