My new S65

2016 S65 AMG coupe, 2010 E63, 2015 Z06/z07 m7 vert 735rwhp, 2000 f-350 crewcab w/ 16" kelderman kit
so far in my 1st year of ownership, about 5k miles including trip home from purchase.
-Radiator, $285 online Behr oem, installed myself
-tires, $660
-rebuilt ABC vavle block, $80
-motor and trans mount- $200
-EC tune and intercooler -$1200
-major service with oil, trans, air, cabin, diff, abc, coolant. ~$500
-marker bulb, $5
upcoming work
-front brakes, pads $100 from MB board member, still looking for rotor deal
-repair front ABC line that has small leak. no hurry, not that bad and its cold out. should cost $60-100 to repair hose instead of replacing
So far i do really enjoy the car. my only regret is not buying a CL65 or SL65 as i have a gs300 that i drive everyday and i quickly found out is that the 65's are not an everyday car unless you are very well off. Also, i know that i could not afford this car if i could not do the work myself as i've saved thousands in labor so far.

If u look on the SL55/63/65 thread people with 65 AMGs are saying you can just get the friction plates from Brembo since that's the brakes all 65 AMGs use, and you will save alot of money that way rather then buying a whole new rotor, just swap them out and your good to go.
I just wish I knew about it before I paid 740 a rotor for my fronts, but at least I know now and I have to do my rears soon
