New S65 AMG W220 (few pics posted)
Excited awaiting delivery (Monday) Finally found a 2006 S65 AMG. Pewter Metallic with Ebony int. Mint condition, 42K miles.

Have window tint appointment and lowering links on the way.



Looks like its going to be a long weekend...

Does anyone know what the Max width rear tires I can run on the stock S65 AMG 19" rims? 285? 295? 305?

I will measure and post when I get car. Did extensive search and couldn't find a clear answer..
Looking for a little more agressive look.

Congrats, the S65 in the w220 body form is a keeper. You can probably go to 285 sections at least without issues, but it all depends (tires even in the same width differ in size depending on the manufacturer).

By the way, what are you upgrading from?

you can go with 285s but you will have to change the front tires too or else they will look like tractor tires in the back.

It did! Sorry been a little focased on detailing, window tinting, etc.

So far:

* Tinted windows. The good stuff. windshield 50% with 15% strip at top. (Had them cut around signature windshield sticker) The rest 15%.

* Full detail & i'm obsessed, Have had the wheels off, waxed the backs and even detailed the brakes. <<A MUST.

* New wheel center caps. (Mercedes OEM, Original) Old one's were pealing..

* Lowered with links about 1/2" to 3/4" Took me 20+ times to get it just right.

Next:

>Tires getting them wider. Did research and measured. Going with 295-30-19 on rear. About 1" wider. 305's could fit but would look to wide. (Still deciding on front. Probably 265's. Will post pics and results.

>And a four wheel alignment.

Dealer in Texas. Was looking for a low mile S65 for a long time. Just popped up and I jumped on it. C
