wheels offset
Can someone tell me what is the offset on a 2004 S55 ? I'm trying to buy 19's for my car and everyone tells me a different number My old rims had 35 offset but they where rubbing in the rear bumper.Some stores said 32 and 35 offset some others 42 ? I don't know what to do Any info PLEASE ?

What width do you want to go. You generally want to stay around 35. Just remember the higher the offset the more sunk it will be.

I see a lot off rims that I like very much on sale but they are from SL's and CLS's with lower offset 21-27 ? Is any way to use those rims if I use some spacers? or something ?

Stock wheels are indeed 44 and 46 offset.
Currently i have a set of 8.5" wide at the front and 9.5" wide at the rear, all with 35 offset.
Fronts sit very nicely, rears hit the bumper and arches.
But let us know what width you intend to use, that can affect offset by quite a bit.

I order concept one RS-8 wheels with 35 front and 38 rear with smaller tires 265"s rear. The old one was 275 and 35 offset It was my last option with my budget I want it wheels with a nice lip . I will install then Saturday Lets see what will happened ......
