Missing bolt/screw 2009 S63

Full disclosure: I'm the 3rd owner of this car.

With time on my hands, I started to clean under the hood. Detailing, sort of. I see this bracket that looks like it is intended to do something, and then I see that there appears to be a fastener missing. Just to the right of the oil filter.

Does anyone have time to look at their car and let me know if I'm missing some parts?

Thanks, Leo

there is a large torx bolt in there holding the tank in position. The front side of the bracket does not appear to have any purpose though...

Thanks so much amgs63dxb. I'm actually relieved to see that there is nothing connected to the bracket in your car either. What the heck is it for? Some option or feature that our cars dont have?

I'm sorry to say that I know that very bolt! Also from my early teen years.

Two hundred bucks huh? Hmmmmm.....

I am just itching for a roadtrip. Would have to go around Oregon as I just can't stomach "SPEED 60" and the effort put into enforcing that...
