2015 S Coupe 63 Transmission Question
It's all that I can add but still don't like it.
After which it will give you a few seconds When you come to a stop before shifting into first.
At present its trying to shift into first just as the vehicle is coming to a complete stop
And that's giving you the jerk.
Even more laughable is notion of a new software update suddenly solving it
65 gearbox is vastly superior but AMG (even after 3yrs) remains unable to solve its annoying jerkiness in urban decels (though the downshift blips in mtn twisties driving are incredibly enjoying vs the boring (but smoother) 5-sp box of prior-gen CL65)

I've been reasonably satisfied with the performance of my 7sp-Speedshift MCT on my MY14 CLS63 - in C mode it is pretty smooth but does get jerky in S/S+/M - but these transmissions definitely are underperforming compared to what Porsche and BMW offer. Seems like AMG's preferred solution is to the use lower torque motors e.g. the 4L AMG V8 with the DCT, rather than develop or source a proper DCT that can handle up to 1000Nm of torque; it sounds like the smaller V8 will find its way into the future 63 models, starting with the 2017 E63, while the 65 models will get a modernized V12 with higher output, 4MATIC, and (presumably) a new transmission for MY18 or 19. I guess that makes sense from a marketing standpoint, because the current 63 to 65 performance difference is certainly not worth the $50k premium and the 63 is in fact faster at any reasonably street speed in the USA.
