I'm a big fan of saddle brown, had gone through most of the colors over the years and this is the one I like the most. Exterior was a tougher choice and it was between white and black after looking at most of the colors in real life. I'm not yet ready for another black car and white looked awesome on the cab dealership had.
I guess my next questions to spend some wait time are going to be more prosaic
- to XPEL or not to XPEL (and to what degree of coverage, there were some good suggestions on the thread)
- research the latest on the integrated detectors (I guess it is still the same one vendor solution with Escort)

Nice build, enjoy!!

I'd PPF at least the hood and front bumper, and rocker area, full car costs double but is worth it on a new S Coupe in my opinion. XPEL and Suntek films are both excellent. If you happen to like the satin look, both offer a product that, when applied to the full car, will give you the magno cashmere white look.
If you have a lot of laser in your area, ALP with NetRadar DSP integrated system is the best bet, or the Escort 9500ci. The Uniden R3 or R7 are exceptional portable detectors, but obviously won't really protect against laser. I use an R3 which works very well when mounted in the proper place (high on the windshield, just to the right of the RVM), and got 12v via MirrorTap. Previous had a 360Max which was worthless, didn't really work through the Mercedes windshield and the GPS connection was horrid; got a replacement under warranty and it was same, so avoid it.
Hopefully the 13 weeks will be less, i.e. underpromising and overdelivering.
Interesting that Max 360 didn't work well for you, I've moved to it from V1 and it worked really well so far. With not much laser coverage in the area, I'm considering Ci 360.
Anyone know if it is possible to track car delivery with a VIN?

Biggest problem I had with the Max 360 is that the GPS often took 15-20 minutes to connect, if ever, and would frequently drop the link once connected. Even tried it outside the car and it was the same. The Uniden connects almost instantly every time. Most of my trips are < 15-20 minutes so many of the nice features of the Escort (i.e. auto lockouts, photo radar locations, etc) were not functional. And the sensitivity is inferior to the Uniden models, requiring a strong signal to set it off through the OEM MB windshield even when mounted up to the right of the passenger mirror. The mount and size of the detector wasn't able to fully get it over the opening in the shield which no doubt was part of that. Uniden at first was missing the directional arrows, but now has it with the R7. Auto GPS lockouts unfortunately are still not available although the detector supposedly will eventually support it once the Escort patent expires.
