Hi I’ve been looking for a new car and can’t really decide what’s the best option. I need a new daily and I’m interested in either a 2018 e63s or a 2015/2016 s63 coupe. I like the new facelift and features in the e63 but the sleekness and design I love on the s63. If you have any extra information or advice that would be awesome. Thank you

Looking for more fun and sportiness or luxury?
E-Class won't be as luxurious but will handle the corners better and feel sportier to drive, and also is more practical with it being four doors, but also not as beautiful.
S-Class is the opposite, more luxurious and comfortable, but not as good in the corners, its more of a GT luxury car that happens to have a monster under the hood. Also being older, may be more problematic, but YMMV.

hello basically I’m looking for a 2018+ s63 but it isn’t in my budget which is around $1100 per month. That’s why I started looking towards the e63s. Is there really much difference between those two or between the pre facelift and facelift s63?

Yes. Quite significant difference, for the better, between pre and post facelift S63’s.Originally Posted by BG27

Face lift for S63c was a big milestone and what drove me to buy new instead of used. Originally Posted by coolcamden

I much prefer the 4.0L V8 and 9-Speed found in the post facelift model, the 7-Speed transmission is pretty clunky in my opinion. E63 is known to have a very stiff suspension so it will be noticeably louder and harder riding inside than an S63.Originally Posted by BG27

Yep, there is a huge difference. I drove the prefacelift S63 for few years, and did not believe it was useful to upgrade to a facelifted S63, but after a test drive I was convinced right away. Much better engine (less turbo lag, more responsive, same power and torque specs, but much better delivered to the road, much better MCT (9 speed), much more AMG feeling (esp in S+ and Race mode), newer/sleeker cockpit and features, etc.............only one major downside imho: much worse COMAND Navi and Online functions..........the NTG 5*2 was much better then the 5*5, see other threads for that).Originally Posted by BG27

Depends like other posted. Luxury wise, nothing compares to the S.It's big, fast, bold, and opulent If you want spirited performance the E63 is a beast.
As for your payment budget if 1100 is your number and you want a 2018+ you will need to land a higher mileage used model or take out a longer term loan.
