S63 Coupe Seat Width

Hello all thank you in advance to any who respond. TLDocument Review - : My R231 SL 550 seats are perfect. I'm wondering whether the S63 has wider sport seats.

I am selling an old (2013 / R231) SL 550 and getting and SL63 (R231) or an S63 Coupe. I cannot find an S63 nearby, so I am going to have to fly to inspect the one I'm interested in. The only potential issue I foresee is seat width. I thought I'd find out what I could before taking that flight.

You need to ask in the SL R231 section
normal seats and AMG seats are different, AMG have more side bolster Very comfortable but i dont know if they are different size, I doubt it

I thought it said you wanted a Sl63. So the Sl are definitely smaller than a S seat The S is bigger and more comfortable. They have side bolsters but not as hard to get in and out of. But I dont have a sl to measure

That's my fault. I was trying to explain that I currently have an SL 550 and I know how the seats fit - they're pretty much perfect. I am considering moving to either an SL63 or an S63 Coupe. The S63 is my preference. But, I used to have a 2015 BMW 650i and the seats were too wide to be comfortable (I'm about 5'7 and a 30-31 waist). I'm a little concerned that the S63 seats would also be too generous to be comfortable, but I'll have to travel pretty far to experience the seats in an S63 coupe. So I was trying to get opinions on whether the S63 seats would be significantly wider than SL63 seats.

S is definitely bigger but you can squeeze the bolsters and adjust them. I would say you will like them. They are bigger and longer and more adjustable than a sl. And this is a big interior compared to a sl. And a much bigger car. I got out of a sl to be able to have more room and comfort
the bottom cushion is 12 1/2'' wide and the back is 11 1/2 " wide

Current: C217 V12TT AMG Previously: C55 AMG, SL65 AMG

The seats are large, but they're comfortable and I didn't find that I slid around in them. They seem to cradle you sufficiently, but they definitely don't feel like sport racing bucket seats. They also don't feel like truck seats (Ram/F150 etc) where they're large but fairly "flat" where you do slide around in them.

But that's just my opinion.
