I also see you have/had an S650 cabriolet. That's the model i was looking for when i bought the S65--i could not rationalize the price differential between the S65 vs S650 when they are virtually identical cars except for the badging [and luggage]. Am i missing other differences? The asking prices from dealers for the S650 were completely unrealistic IMHO and now they are dropping significantly. My VIN is later than those of S650 cabs i've seen for sale.

My 2017 S650 Maybach Cabriolet VIN is WDDXK7KB1HA027736
MBZ did sell model years 2018 and 2019 S65 Coupes and Cabriolets in the U.S.
Since The refresh in 2018 significantly increased the power and other features on the S63 Coupe and Cabriolets, the power difference between the two became much smaller. So many opted for the S63 over the S65 variants. Hence so few S65 coupes and Cabs were sold in the U.S. in 2018 and 2019.
Mine is a U.S. spec, U.S. registered S65 Coupe that was ordered from a U.S. dealer - only picked up in Stuttgart via the European delivery program. Thereafter it was shipped to the U.S.
The S650 Cabriolet is a very special car. Only 300 were made. Of the 300, only 75 made it to the U.S. (they were in red, white and blue). Mine is one of the 25 blue ones. It's based on a 2017 S65 Cab with several upgrades in trim. leather, etc. It also has softer engine mapping and a more quiet exhaust. The original sticker price of my S65 Coupe was $248,000. 2019 S65 Convertibles were approximately $265,000 depending on options. The 2017 S650 Maybach was stickered at $348,000. They were priced too high and for that reason they didn't sell. They were priced at the same price as the Bentley Continental GTC (Cab) and only $40,000 cheaper than the Rolls Royce Dawn (CAB). Since the Maybach is really an ultra luxury Mercedes and the Maybach name at the time did not have the Cashe' of a Bentley or a Rolls, they didn't sell. I purchased mine used (2 years old) with 720 miles on it for $215,000. With crazy prices of today's cars, I am not sure what they would sell for, but i'm guessing that a low mileage clean Maybach S650 Cab would still sell in the low to mid 200K. Even though the Maybach S650 and The S65 Coupe basically share the same platform, the Maybach is much more refined in every way (as it should be). Had they been priced at $299,000 I think they would have sold well. (My opinion). Personally, I love the S650 Cab. I think it's much better built than the Bentley, drives much nicer, the quality of the build, fit and finish are far superior and I believe it will hold it's value better over time. Everyone who has driven with me in it is amazed at how beautiful and refined it is, especially the interior. The S65 Coupe is also amazing, only different. I definitely prefer it over the new SL63 that just came out.

Thx again.

Would you care to share some pictures of your S65 Cab? I'd love to see them. On a side not, I only recall seeing one or two 2019 S65 Cabs when I visited the various dealers at that time. Thus, i'm guessing your is very rare indeed.

Do you happen to have the numbers for all the S65 Cab and Coupes per year (2016-2019)?
