Yes you need a tune to add those. You can't go wrong with pretty much any of the popular ones. Renntech, Weistech, etc. I picked Weistech because they were close enough to drive to.
if i do not get a tune right away will it cause any harm or not run correctly ? it is not my daily so if i have to i can let it just sit in the garage until i get a tune

you can put all kinds of hardware on a car, but the oem ecu program is designed to work with the oem system.
If you done re tune the car, the engine may work against itself, thinking theses too much air flow, or not enough fuel etc
any recommendations? i don’t need nothing crazy just want it to run well with the downpipes and exhaust .. anyone know a easy handheld tuner i can order ?
Please read and watch the above BEFORE you go physical on your Benz.
You might think about just doing a tune, OEtuning has a +100hp +100ft.lbs torque tune I've been running for about 3yrs with absolutely no issues other than trying to stay out of JAIL for speeding. If that's not enough your plans still are viable. I too live close to both Weistec and OEtuning, but I like the fact that OE post their dyno runs on their web site for ALL their tunes.

update .. installed catted downpipes and exhaust it’s great these r the pics
sounds perfect it has the hi flow cats no cel light i used the spacers also switched over the stock valve motors so it’s a pretty quiet in comfort the. just opens up in sport and sport plus you hear all the burples … no tune runs great .. just a little faint smell but i was told that should go away soon since they are new and what ever industry oils need to burn off .. who knows but no smell in the cabin at all and just a faint smell from behind .. deff feels much faster and the pick up is very noticeable
