1. Disconnect Battery - Turn ignition on (position 1), not engine on. Disconnect the negative terminal on the main battery. Per Xentry, ignition "on" is required for removing the knee airbag. I was told it leaves all circuits open. Worked for me.
2. Under dash/above legs driver's side panel removal - . Remove the 4 bolts holding the airbag to the panel and disconnect the airbag. The airbag connector has a retainer that is raised using a pick and then the connector can be removed from the airbag. Remove the 4 screws holding the panel up, it might drop a little. There are 2 screws holding the OBDII connector in place, remove and fish the connector thru the panel. There is 1 screw holding the hood latch release in place, remove and fish the latch thru the panel. At this point you starting working the panel down to access other items to be disconnected from the topside of the panel. Pull down on the roundish part of the panel that is above the pedals, it is a creased part of the panel (it is right below the speaker in the picture posted below, it's standing up so kind of hard to see). Notice my hand holding the side piece of the panel that is also creased. This pulls down as well for panel removal. Now you should have the panel hanging down to disconnect the speaker and light. There are 2 terminal block things (yellow wires) also attached to the topside of the panel towards the back, shown in pics below. Remove them by lifting the hooking clip and sliding them out. You should now be able to remove the panel.
Next post, a little later today, is door panel removal, man this write up takes a bit to get done properly. Sorry, have to run into town for now.

Once you have the door panel off you have to remove the cover behind the door module (pictured below). Pinch at the top and slide up to remove module.
Next remove cover seen below. Cover just has a few clips as seen in the 2nd pic below. This allows your arm access to undo the door harness connector from the door shell, seen in 3rd pic below.
Disconnect the door to body harness by lifting the tab my thumb is on in the upwards direction with a pick.
Release the door side harness connector and pull it out of the door. Now run the wire (with 4 end pins) through the rubber loom to the harness connector to be able to insert the 4 pins into the backside of the connector. Make sure you hear/feel each of the 4 pins click/lock into place. The control box sent with the vents installs inside the dash unlike the videos of sedans having it installed by the door module. This completes the door portion of the install. As you can see in an above pic, I have removed the chrome door sill and pulled the left side footwell panel away. This is required to run the wires though the body side and pin the door harness connector.

Release the door side harness connector and pull it out of the door. The vents in the coupes have a release tab inside the vent. You pull the vent out while holding the release tab. Remove the ashtray, rectangular vent above the 4 center air vents and center console. The driver's side fuse panel has a simple release tab to pull it out and push to the side. Fish the wires through as needed. Following the video to also fish the wire through the driver footwell left sidewall and into the harness loom. This again is were you will have to pin the back of the bodyside door harness. I remember that this harness connector comes apart by sliding the inner part while holding the outer housing. There are 2 pin blocks stacked and you have to pull/slide the shorter one out to insert the pins. You can see the black, yellow, red, blue wires I pinned in the pic below. I ended up placing my control block in the rectangular vent area, tucked towards the back of car and sitting on top of the 4 center vents. First time the lit up the wrong color from stock lights but after adjusting colors they matched the stock lights.
