Not happening, Cars have been moved to Corp. stores as the Halifax location is packed with over 1500 cars ...No word on delivery yet as I am sure cars will be held until further notice.

I called my SA based on these threads. Car was initially delivered to Halifax the 1st week of May. He inquired today on the car’s status. The reply commented on the service campaign being completed as we speak. I am to expect the car mid-October. It’s the first one to be delivered to my dealership in Edmonton. It’s bitter sweet since I have been waiting for this car for so long but there was a dusting of snow on the ground today. Winter is starting much earlier this year it seems. Last year we were relatively clear to mid-November. I’m trying to work up my excitement but now I’m looking into winter tires. The fronts are an issue. The only option appears to be Pirelli W240 Sottozeros series II. Michelin Alpin PA4’s size appropriately for the rear but not the front. The Pirelli’s are a mediocre winter tire. Anyone with suggestions?

We are on the same boat ! Why 265/40/19 Michelin PA4 square would not working ? It’s the MB recommandation. But I’m unable to find the right load specs for now.

Simarddominic... Thank you for pointing out these two threads. I had forgotten about their content. I was thinking about a 19” option as well but ideally I would like to fit the winter tires to the stock 20’s then buy some nice aftermarket 20’s and re-install the factory tires to those wheels. I was thinking about putting on a 285-30-20 which is 26.8 in overall diameter vs the stock 265-35-20 which is 27.3 in. Around 1% difference. I think this should be within tolerance. It is said that a change of 3% is the maximum change in general. I’m not sure if this little change could actually mess up the 4matic system though.

I was able to locate
Pirelli Sottozero Series 3 in stock staggered sizes and proper loads here in Toronto. I would have preferred a square setup as well but not sure about the width of the front wheels...

Did you dealer express to you when you were there Saturday the car wasn’t released yet and it was just moved there because the VPC was full. Is there any truth to those reports by people?

It’s funny
I was so excited to see the cars I don’t think the topic actually came up outside of discussing my delivery. I believe he indicated and at that time figured that delivery would proceed shortly. He told me that when he saw the transport earlier that morning he checked and saw that my car was still in Halifax. I guess I have already accepted my fate (delivery mid to late oct) and with how my dealer has taken care of me by giving me a brand new car to drive I’m fine. We are well past the point now of getting in some track time anyways lol

Hey, Orenlasko... You can get Sottozero Series 3 in stock 20” sizes? I can’t find the Series 3 in matching sizes only Series 2. Please send more information if you can.

Choices for OEM summer size, but for winter on PCMtire:
https://pmctire.com/en/tires/usage/w...tion/desc.tire
And choices for MB Spec, 265/40 R19 square:
https://pmctire.com/en/tires/usage/w...tion/desc.tire
And stagered with 295/35 R19 at the rear:
https://pmctire.com/en/tires/usage/w...tion/desc.tire
NOTE: The michelin PA4 in square settup don't have the right load cote. The only settup in 19" that it's completely on spec is with Continental.
Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

That’s a nice set up, bobblehead. I wonder if those or 19’s in general would fit over ccb’s? Going 19’s goes against my wish to save the stock rims for winter and buying a nice summer set using the oem summer tires.

The Euro E63 are using the PA4 as well. However, I think the preference is to use Conti TS 830P (if you are looking being source as OEM set from factory). Do note the 830P is already considered obsolete as 850P replaces that.

If you want the 20's, I guess just take the short term wallet pain and get them.

And I like black wheels and I can not have the RTS one on my command, I have RTR silver one.
I'm looking to order that one for summer: Zito ZF01 in black:

The only choice in 20" OEM size for winter is Pirelli - Winter 240 Sottozero Serie II

I searched only with the exact 20" and 19" specs...
20"
Front: 265/35 ZR20 (99 Y) XL
Rear: 295/30 ZR20 (101 Y) XL
19" Square
265/40 R19 102 V XL
19" staggered:
Front: 265/40 R19 102V M+S
Rear: 295/35 R19 104 V XL
BTW, it is the car the most complicated to put on for the winter I never had !
And with the winter that coming more soon this year, It will be dangerous to make the road that I had to make without winter shoes on the car when I will take delivery and comeback home !
