Lowering my Mercedes w205 a few questions
Hello I'm going to be lowering my c300 2015 and I usually take my cars to my local garage guy that works from home. Is Lowering this car any different than your standard car or would I need to get this installation done at a foreign mechanic shop?

Presuming it doesn't have AirMatic your guy should have no problem. (If it has AirMatic you can lower it yourself in around a half an hour.)
Remember to get a new alignment after the drop.

I have already ground the car into speed bumps and high kerbs. Not sure why anyone would want to make that situation worse.

Hey Mike, hope you're well.
For others in the upgrading springs camp..
The standard MB suspension with H&R sport springs fitted is actually a little softer than MB's own AMG sports springs and bilstein dampers..
The 25-30mm H&R drop is easily 10mm lower than the MB AMG sports pack set up too..
These springs are ideal and not intrusive even on less than perfect roads..
The MB AMG steel suspension is more harsh for sure..

Mine was an AirMatic drop using links on a W220. No experience with doing springs on a steel set up, but anything that can give the stock suspension more compliance and make the car look better is a win/win.

I've replaced my stock springs with H&R and later went back to stock due to the degradation of the ride quality. Looks great but I'd rather give up the looks for ride quality.
