2022 E450 Cabriolet
I used to like black wheels but now I find they " disappear " , especially with dark exterior colors . I'm planning on the 19 inch wheels which only come in silver . It's shocking that on a $100,000 car they only give 3 choices when even the non - AMG models get more ?

Only the non-AMG vehicles . There are some CLE 300 coupes and cabs in dealer's inventories now . My dealer says AMGs will be 2025 models with more info to come late in the year .
The recent system hack has slowed the snail pace arrivals even more . The USA configurator gives a good idea of what will be available up here - just add 25% to prices !!

I think I like the black rims best but not sure I like the offered CLE53 rims that much. I'm hoping for more options on the CLE63!!

MY24 wheel selection one of the reasons I held off as well. While somewhat attractive, the 20 inch multi spoke design reminded me of the 70's vintage Alfa Cromodora Turbine wheels that were a nightmare to keep clean.
They will certainly benefit from today's quartz coatings - still quite difficult to access the barrels.
Was also hoping that MY25 would offer a broader color palette (aside from the new Sun Yellow). Perhaps following the GT with a Selenite Grey or Cirrus Silver metallic, either would have been my first choice.
As is - will be going with the Moonlight White Metallic and Night Package Plus (first white car). Choosing between the grey and black color options for the new cross-spoke forged wheels is the question here now.
I get the draw of the black wheels with the white bodywork, though as mentioned above, it seems the wheels would “disappear” leaving the grey wheels as my initial preference. Certainly open to member thoughts on this.

MBWorld Fanatic!
They will also be much easier to clean compared with the other over spoked design and offer a clearer see through 'window' view of the brakes and callipers.
However compared with the same design on the new GT these look to be a smaller diameter.
More pics of a magno blue supposedly 63 mule with those wheels: https://mbworld.org/forums/cle-class...ispreloading=1

Wheel preference is so personal. I love the way the MY24 look and if you look at the comments on the video so do most people.
i really dislike the new ones pictured above on the MY25.

Admittedly, have been reconsidering the wheel choice. The overly open design of the forged wheels exposing the somewhat unremarkable rotors and calipers an issue.
The machine highlighted wheels you chose might be the way to go - they do look very sharp. Would definitely quartz coat them to aid cleaning. From experience, it really helps.

I am going with Graphite Grey Magno, the 20 inch bicolour wheels , Night Package 1 , Driver's Package. Basically the set up in the video without the external CF.

The dealer found a couple of white '24 CLE 53s that were very close to my specs, but once I found out about the '25 forged wheels I told him I'll wait until I can order a '25. They really want my G550 as a trade-in, so I'll be their first '25 CLE order. They are hoping to give me a plan for ordering a '25 on Friday.
