Hello all - I am in process of buying a low-mileage (18k) 2022 GLC 43 SUV that is CPO from an MB dealer. It’s beautiful, loaded, and near mint. Price is also pretty good. The vehicle is for an elderly family member who is moving out of a sedan.
Any advice on buying this vehicle or any watchouts? Any major known issues with the 2022 GLC 43s?
You should be fine, you have the cpo warranty if anything, this model year is near the end of this generation (X253) so most problems are fixed therefore most likely reliable, the engine most likely is reliable as well.

I am also considering a 2022 GLC 300 with low miles (15k) and CPO. That said, car has way fewer options and doesn’t look nearly as good. It’s meaningfully cheaper, of course. This is a gift for an elderly family member, so they’d be happy with the 300 most likely, but I think it’s nice to have a V6 if it’s available.

What I am worried about is the suspension (and how stiff it is) and the sporty nature of the GLC 43 even though the V6 is more reliable.
What you could do is get the GLC 300 as you mentioned instead, the M264 is a mix in terms of reliability I remember there is a cylinder head recall so make sure that is done, I forgot if there are other issues though.

Ha. I am still in the CLE 53. With hindsight, I should have waited for another 2021 C63 to surface, which they ultimately did. Much harder now to find a good used one a year later.

Since MB is bringing back V8s to many models, you probably could just wait for the new ones to come out instead.
