Infinite Scroll is being rolled out in stages...
Hi,
Infinite scroll is being rolled out in stages, members who were logged out and then logged back in will get the style at a 50/50 mix and it will stick when they log in. If you want to change your style please go here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions
Scroll down to Miscellaneous Options
Click on the Forum Skin dropdown
Select "Classic Next Gen"
Click Save Changes
Changes include the automatic loading of each thread page, top navigation bar sticks with you as you scroll down, adds a bottom bar for replies and thread navigation. Try it logged out on longer threads if you have time. Please post feedback in this thread. Thank you.

Not a fan.
Normally browse on my laptop, and with two added bars on top and bottom that never go away, plus gaps between each post, I have to constantly scroll down. It's like only seeing half the page at a time, adds an unnecessary step IMO.
I see no gain in having the reply function stickied, you should read further into the thread anyway before replying, the multi-quote function works well if you need to comment on older posts.

Sorry, rather not have related thread and quick reply bar functions. Might I suggest allowing option to deactivate?

Figured out how to turn off infinite scroll, because that was terrible.
The top and bottom bars make reading on a phone or iPad terrible. They take up too much space.
Can't post pictures from iPad or iPhone. Screen becomes transparent grey over the insert picture options, and have to refresh browser to get back to previous page.

I assume it is one of the those 'undocumented features' associated with most software changes. I have asked for tech support. Thank you!

The bars across the top and bottom of the screen were too much
It makes my big screen small and I am only able to read one post
at a time
Now I will be the first to admit that I am an idiot when it comes
to computers and always struggle when forums change
their format / presentation
However this is not my forum so I must live with whatever
but I like it when I turn off the "Infinite" set-up
Thank-You

Then, I noticed the new look. I can say I am not a fan of it and it makes things a bit confusing and misplaced. I like the classic look where the bottom auto-reply box was static and the unstuck top navigate bar.

Hi Bob, I noticed this one day when my computers made me re-log into the site...which I thought was weird because they are always set to auto-login.

I'm actually a fan of infinite scrolling in general.
However, is the new related thread feature part of this roll out? It's really confusing as often you can't tell the thread jumped somewhere else. It feels like a derailment.

I believe the 'Related Topic' is an additional feature and I agree it can be a bit confusing. I'll pass your comments to IB and thank you!

Yes, when you try to scroll to what you think is the end of the thread you wind up somewhere completely off topic. It's caused me to post in the wrong section.

I apologize, it's one of the 'loose ends' resulting from the roll-out of Unlimited Scroll. There are a few more and I'm told they will be addressed. I will try to find out more info on the status. Thank you for your patience.

On a related topic, I now notice that the reply box has now been altered (see below). It used to be a long horizontal text box with a more modern font. Now the text box is more cube-like with a more plain and traditional font type. Is this part of the new roll-out? I like the old style better. Now if you are typing a long reply, most of it falls out of view, because the box is square instead or rectangular (see below, all of the dead grey space to the right of the text box).
Hi,
Please go to your Edit option and change your editor to CKeditor and see if that helps?
