We are super excited to launch a new way to enjoy the MBWorld community from your mobile devices!
It's still a very early beta but beginning today if you're logged in and visiting the Community from your mobile device, you can now choose a dark mode theme in addition to the standard theme we've always had 😎
We are looking to you for feedback about the experience. Being that you are one of the very first communities we're trying this out on, we don't expect to have gotten it perfect so we appreciate any feedback you're able to provide.
We also recognize that some of you would like to see a dark mode on desktop, we do too! Our first goal is to perfect this mobile experience and our hope is to release dark mode for all browsers once the summer is over. Thank you all in advance for your understanding.
Please log in from your mobile, turn the dark mode on using the Hamburger menu and let us know your feedback in this thread.
iPad is a desktop class browser, if you wish to experience the dark mode, please tap on the aA in your navbar and ask your iPad to 'request mobile website'.
it's very refreshing to see you are actively tweaking the user side code.
To that end could you streamline the endless scripts that cause high CPU useage and battery drain while on this forum (Chrome on Android).
Busy browser scripts are good for business, please try to mitigate your stack to time out, or fire up at intervals every 5mn. Put the 3rd party script in another box do they deliver profits without impacting your user experience.
Win-win: I am all about finding positive solutions.
Look at this on a bandwidth perspective: serve more users, faster with lower server load.
Thank your developers for the great service they help bring to life - Cali.
This is a known issue when custom font color is used in a post, either intentional using the font color option or unintentional via a copy/paste of rich-text, as the custom font color overrides. We are looking into solutions to the issue.

Thanks.
Luckiky this isn't a huge problem that people use different font colors. I don't understand why there even is possibility to change the font colors, as it does not give any extra value to the text, just harder to read. And it's not issue on the dark mode alone, IIRC modern blue is another mode which made letters to disapper when used certain font color.
But I like this dark mode, I have every possible app on my phone on dark mode

Still no luck on the iPad, I followed your instructions but the browser is already in mobile mode and option is request desktop website and still no hamburger or anywhere I can find the setting on safari on the iPad.
