Abs / Bas & Esp Warning Lamps On
Hi all,
I wondered if anyone here has an idea of what is going on with my dash unit...
I did a little work under the rear seat on the weekend, I had to disconnect the roof control unit so I removed the appropriate fuses to remove the power to this unit first.
However now I have the above lights on, on the dash, right from ignition start. I have tried the steering sensor reset (turn left & right) but no change, I tried removing the battery just incase but no change.
Running out of ideas here...
Anyone???

Just swapped ALT and BATT...cleared...
I suffered a failed Altenator and battery and had the same code/lights on...heres what to do:
1. start the car
2. turn the wheel all the way to the right then left
LIGHTS GO OFF!!!
That simple!!

I'm with Craig...
When this happened to me, the initial cause was my battery putting out less than 11 or 12 volts indicating a failing battery. Follow Craig's steps to clear codes, and put a voltmeter to your battery with the engine running; if low, replace.

One more thing when changing the battery - you'll need to reteach the door windows. Same concept as with teaching the steering limits.
1) Start car and close both doors
2) Open/lower both door windows fully
3) Close/raise both door windows fully
4) Open/lower both door windows fully
5) Done!
This sequence teaches the limits to the door window circuits and allows the windows to automatically lower slightly when the respective door is opened so you're not fighting the window weatherstriping.
Cheers,
Jeff
