ECU tuning for 1999 R129 SL500
Hello people,
From experience, who would you recommend for tuning my ME2.0 ECU?
I have swapped out my M113 5.0 engine for a 5.4 M113 AMG N/A one. And need my ECU programmed to compliment the new engine.

What do you feel the issue is with the standard ECU . I'm trolling for an engine and car to do this swap .

Perhaps ignitions timing needs to be altered. Someone has to tell the ECU all that stuff.

The ECU is self tuning via the oxygen sensors. Your current injectors probably have the flow to handle the upgrade.
If your engine were lean it would be hotter (tougher to cool) and the plugs would be white. Pull one and hope for a nice tan pattern.
You can probably just drive the car with no worries. What did the other folks that made the same swap do to their car's ECU, probably nothing?

I'm very interested in making a R129 SL55 In my search for an engine I want to know if there are any cam differences between a M113N/A CL55, ML55 or S55?
