SL/R129: 93 500 SL Top Not Functional

93 500 SL Top Not Functional
Ok. Yes I have read almost every dang thread on this thing so here we go.
1. No lights are on upon ignition.
2. 32 pin round OBD port on passenger side past Shock Tower under hood.
3. The top is currently up, roll bar down. Roll bar will not come up.
4. upon hitting the top button I here a click, then nothing more happens. After about 20 seconds the button starts to flash.
5. there are no leak stains or pools of fluid, pump is in place with the proper level of fluid. Cylinders were replaced about 8 years ago, yes I understand that means nothing.
6. I have rolled each round cylinder fuse around to ensure good contact. Horn works. Radio doesn’t function, but antenna does upon turning Radio On/Off.
7. is there the simple OBD port under plastic cover adjacent to shock tower?
8. Code reader per Rick Potter on the way.
9. I would hazard a guess since the car was a Fl condo car, that power has been interrupted by one or more battery replacements over the years.
So besides just jumping right out and spending thousands, yes I have been in touch with Klaus to rebuild cylinders if necc. What are specific instructions to try and diagnose this.

Windows work just fine on their own or upon the use of the top switch.
I was able to unlatch the windshield latches and the latches for back of top.
With the roll bar in down position I couldn’t access the bolt easily to unlatch tonneau cover.
So top didn’t get down.

Any open end 10mm wrench will catch that latch bolt if you have the Mercedes tool kit there is one in there roll bar does not have to be up. That bolt kinda hides in the carpet. Pick up a long one at Harbor Freight

Also, I am assuming with this or any other car that latches should be properly lubricated. This was a "Condo" car and was not driven much.... so what should I do for a lubricant, penetrating oil, something of the graphite nature...
Any great advice would be welcome, I have every little trim piece that gets dry and brittle getting replaced etc, just getting her tip top shape, forgot how much just quite tinker time in the garage was necessary to clear the mind.

Re read all codes and on socket 21, still get 7, and it doesn’t clear, on socket 22 get 5. Doesn’t clear.
Roll Bar still not operating or raising, switch not lit , windows function properly with top switch and I hear a click passenger side on top or tonneau when switch is activated to lower.
I can’t hear pump come on either. I will repeat again tomorrow.
Open to any ideas.
