I've been thinking about buying this bag but wonder if it is usable and worth the money. If any of you that have it would comment on this I would appreciate it.

I would be curious to hear any feedback about the bag too.

The bag is gorgeous and very useful. I unfortunately had to give it back because I keep my seat too far back and it hit and crushed the bag.Originally Posted by StephenK

That would be my only comment.

I've replied on the SL55 board; useful, but it marks the leather because it has hard plastic feet which puts me off using it.

It's kind of an odd shape, and I feel a little strange carrying this awkward-looking thing through posh hotel lobbies, but it's a good way to get the most out of the space behind the seats. I'm 6'2" and I don't put the seat back so far that it contacts the bag.

That bag will be very usefull. Wife and I take a lot of weekend trips, and she puts her makup bag, cooler, and food in the SL bag.
Just put towels/rags under the pastic feet.

I've had the bag for over three years now, and use it on most trips out of town. It fits neatly in place; however it car top is down, anyone can "take' it out of the car. Originally Posted by ldye

My only negative concern is: the bag is so large, and if stuffed fully, it can become very heavy to carry.
Positive Note-- I use it frequently to stow things even on short trips---to get "loose" material tethered, and out of the way in cabin; yet is very easily accessable if you need to remove something for immediate use at any time w/o going to the trunk proper.

Can someone provide a pic or a link so that we can see what it looks like? Sounds very useful.
Thanks
