All new 2006 Sl500's will have Sirius standard.
I was at my dealer tonight inquiring about 06 Sl's and discovered that Sirius is now a "no charge" option. Its supposed to have the new small antenna...
Dealer said that this is a good sign that that there will be changes in the 07 Sl. He said whenever MB gives soemthing away they do so to encourage sales.. like all the new S classes coming with Sport packages for free..

He didnt say... I got a feeling that the update will be on the 2007 model thats introduced early 06.
They didnt think the where going to be any body changes.
It seems MB has a trend of introducing new models mid year just like they did with the 2006 E350..

Agree with lorinserbenz's comments about a facelift. SLs here now come with pano roof and parktronic as no-cost-options which obviously anticipates change for the 2007 model year if not the 2006 year. How extensive remains to be seen.
Not many SLs sold here have the pano roof and my own preference would be to have Tyre Pressure Monitoring or Keyless Go as the freebies.
TPM is soon going to be mandatory in some markets (including the US), so expect to see it dropped from the options list.
Interestingly, the hiatus here in Europe about the still-born constitution is weakening the euro against the dollar which will ease the pressure for price increases in the US.
