Beat to death, but ??? on RENNTECH

I have heard over and over, "better shift points" after the upgrade. What does this mean and what would you expect to see different as a result of it.

Sorry, I'm watching the island as well.
Plus you have my MSN!

Basically right now, the car rides very 'lazily'.
When the new shift points, when you are really doing spirited driving, the shift points are optimized for the most fun.

It's kinda like the difference in Sport mode and normal Drive in a BMW. Night and day.

Plus it's included in the ECU remapping package.

If you are 17 in Denmark, you don't drive a car, (you need to be 18, to get a licence), if you are 25 you drive an old Peugeot from '89, if you are 30 you drive an old BMW from '87-'91 if you are 35 you buy a practical Opel Astra 1,6 or a Hyunday, KIA or Deawoo...so anyway, you are 17 and drive a BMW, if it were here, you would be ritch, and famous to drive such a car, in such a age! Crazy Amerikanskis!!

Someone should post Lars' car pictures on the CL55 Sticky picture thread. It should not die in the abyss of old posts.... in fact that thread should be cleaned up, there should be a nice Gallery here.... its just that someone needs to do it because most owners simply post on a reply or a new thread and there is no real Gallery.

Ricky, I hereby nominate you for this job.

I'll take care of it when I get back from school today.

Edit: I"ll try to take care of it. I just realized I might get back very late.

Weird? I think those Kleemann TS-6's are one of the hottest rims on the market!

Mabye. But it it's seems weird that they turns like they do, and the spokes are so narrow compared with the size of the rims. The option 18" five spoke rims for the SL 500 is my favorite rims, clean and clasical. Those kleemann seems overreacted, but they are efective..."Inspiration for the KLEEMANN TS-6 alloy came from the kompressor screw, and the design gives great consideration to weight and function. The centre rim is rotary forged, CNC machined and diamond polished, followed by several layers of clear coat. The two-piece outer rim section is polished alloy. The comprehensive manufacturing process reduces the rims' total weight up to 30 percent compared to a conventional alloy rim.

The unique shape of the TS-6 rim star augments the aerodynamics of the car as it exhausts the air from underneath while driving. In addition to reducing negative lift this also increases cooling of the brakes and improves the handling and stability of the vehicle.

The KLEEMANN TS-6 alloy wheel is available in 19 and 20 inch in diameters, with widths ranging from 8.5 to 12 inches in half-inch increments. Together with a comprehensive wheel spacer program this ensures a perfect result on any Mercedes-Benz model.

To find a matching wheel and tire combination for your Mercedes-Benz model please click here for more information.

Important guide lines for maintenance of KLEEMANN Alloy Wheels can be downloaded here"
