It's called a spoiler because it spoils the clean desing. Poor cars on those pictures

Actually, it's just a matter of opinion. IMO, some spoilers *do* ruin the look of a vehicle, but in the case of the spoiler I chose, the Lorinser deck lid spoiler, I think it finishes off the rear end of the vehicle. To me, it looks a little too plain without it.

Got the wheels, tires, deck lid spoiler, smoked tail lights and sport wood steering wheel all from CEC in L.A. They specialize in German car accessories.

The official name for these is actually something like
