Looking into purchasing an 03 or 04 SL500.
Desire 25k miles or less. What is a good buy these days?

65k-70k on a 03... $72-77 on the 04 depending on the options. Id avoid a 2003..

Yea some of the earlier 03's had problems or at least it seems pretty common on here. Tho some are just 'lucky' ones. Like mine..
For a rough idea of what they go at you can go check www.ebay.com and in the search results go to buy it now, and sort by price. The auctions usually go for a little under the lowest buy it now price depending on the options and miles..

at the dealership I work for we just sold a 03 SL500 Brilliant/Ash 17k miles for $67k

they have 9 left and they will do $15 below MSRP, I spoke to David ****.
They have advertised on their website for $8 below ( under new cars - specials ) but they will do $15K.

Or speak to Alan @ SF Benz, he had 3 left as of 10/2. I bought from Alan for $17 below MSRP. I guess he will only do it if you are ready to go and buy the same day you call him.

they have lot of 2005 SL's and it also shows their internet price if you give your email address. They are down by about $6K but I think you can push them down instead of flying up to SF.
