Questions: Windshield wipers & hanging clothes

On a 2007 SL550:

1) How do you get the windshield wipers to stay up while cleaning the glass?

2) Is there a place to hang clothes, like a jacket or shirts from the cleaners?

Thanks!

To get the wipers to stay up, turn the car ignition on,
and turn the wipers on. When the wipers are in the middle
of the windshield, turn off the ignition, and then you can
flip the wipers up.

For hanging a sport jacket or something, you can get a
jacket holder from performance products which attaches
to the headrest posts of the seat.

I'd thought of that, just hoped that a $100K car wouldn't require such an awkward approach. Sigh. But thanks.

Thanks again. I may just hang the shirts (or jacket on a hanger) form the headrest posts themselves. Again, needing to buy a $25 device invented by someone specifically because MB doesn't realize that its customer base is the sort that does wear sportcoats, suits, and laundered shirts? Sigh again.

lol, while we are on the subject, what do you think of
the cup holders? Better yet the one that attaches to
the passanger seat. Talk about an after thought, that
is it at its finest.

Apart from Performance Products, you may want to check out following Headrest Coathangers... (chrome, carbon fibre, or vip..)..

if you drive naked, then you, of all people, would need that coat hanger! unless you live in a nudist colony and are therefore, naked all the time! Hope you have good leather protection for your seats, wouldn't want to get butt rash! lol
