They bit off Mercedes. They know it. The car magazines know it and its just sad how companies try to bite off the real deal. A manufacturer that I feel is guilty of this the most, is the good old folks at Hyundai who have cheap imitations of MANY higher end cars. Its kinda funny how obvious it is......

damn it looks just like cl and clk
the accord coupe looks nice now...
ad its faster than my clk damn..
oh btw not only hyndai....the most obvious are acura, toyota and lexus..
the acura front headlights copies a bit from bmw and the back resembles the front headlights of BMW
toyota camry front headlights looks like s-class and the rear looks like old clk/e-class
and all lexus models copy from MB

You get my drift....
Get over Lexus having copied with the LS and than gone one better on MB way back when. Times have changed.
Now with regard to the lower-end brands copying things. I think it is hilarious whenever I glimpse a Sonata and confuse it for a Jag S-Type for a second. More power to the guys at Hyundai. If it's the style that folks are after and not the rest of the package then so be it! I prefer knowing I've got the whole package.

Lexus makes such a reliable and wondeful vehicles. I only wish they would design their cars based on their own styling, not copying all reputable and famous German automakers.

See...I think it's cool that lower end cars make the most out of what they have for people that are not as financially capable as so many of us on this site.
