SL/R230 07 tail light lenses on 03 SL500

2003 SL500

07 tail light lenses on 03 SL500

Does anyone know if the 07 SL550 tail light lenses will fit my 03 SL500?
They appear to be identical in size and shape with the clear center strip being the only difference.
Thanks for any info.

07 ML63 Silver Dead at 85k, 14 RS5, 05 SL600

I had 07 sl 55/65 tail (smoked cented) put in an 05 last friday. Big improvement. Updates the rear a lot-and the LED's are much nicer when lit as well.

same here. the lights are held in by three nuts. not too hard to change yourself. big improvement.

I am thinking about changing my rear lamps, from what I can see it is a big job as all of the boot has to be put into the service mode to be able to remove the trim, how long did it take
